Let's try this again.

Here's where I am so far. It's in that last ugly phase before it will start to look good.

What I have so far.

A lot of it is still rough and in the ugly phase, especially the walking part.

But here it is so far.

It's coming along.

I can have the majority of it done by the end of the week. Which is awesome. The walk cycle still needs to be smoothed out, though.

Lip syncing

Here's a test of mine. I'm happy with it. I few things need to be ironed out, like when he says "porch," but that seems to be it. Now I have to animate the body and upper head.

Update

I knocked out almost all of the lip syncing. Still nothing too interesting to show all at once. I should have the long end scene done by Wednesday, then it's all easy from there.

Also, here's what I want for the backgrounds:

Very "Home Movie-eqsue" rough colored outlines, some things not colored in, other colored out of the lines. I'm happy with it.

I'm making progress now that the voices have been recorded, but nothing too interesting to show. I'll have a big update on Monday with all sorts of cool stuff.

Slight problem with schedule

Hooray for the cage. I planned to have the voice acting recorded on Saturday, but scheduling problems made me push it back to tomorrow (Tuesday). I'm only slightly behind now, I just need to work a lot harder this week. I'll finish the animatic once I get the voices in. Also, you can peep the backgrounds, I'll have em posted on Wednesday. They aren't terribly interesting, though.

As for now, I don't have anything to show.
